J.J. Audubon Reprints

The artwork produced by John James Audubon nearly 200 years ago was poorly received by the public when it was first offered, as few people appreciated nature. Rather, most colonists considered the fields and forests of North America a brutal land full of dangerous beasts. Our appreciation has improved, of course, and the original artwork is rare and commands a very high price. But countless copies have been made in a wide variety of sizes, and we own a small supply of some of the larger reprints available. We offer these reprints for $10.00 each, a deal you won't find even on eBay. We have four prints in a portfolio set (only those four prints) that we offer for $40.00 which includes the portfolio folder and an Audubon biography, plus a description of each of the reprints.

Each of the following eight reprints measures 16 x 21 inches with the image size approximately 12 x 17 1/2 inches. The description below each reprint is the original wording on the reprint. There are no marks or tears on them.
